It’s not all about the money. Fans have more value than that. Maybe you don’t agree that they should be spoken to any more so than an absolute newbie but if fans were just walking wallets then it wouldn’t matter at all whether they evangelize or ostracize other potential fans and I think we can all agree it’s both better business and better manners to have someone that will genuinely evangelize for you.
